High Voltage Expulsion Fuse

Oil-immersed high voltage fuse link is designed for the protection of distribution transformers, simple structure, strong breaking capacity, and reliable performance

Protects the transformer from over current by disconnecting it from the network. Installed inside the distribution transformer, it links the incoming high-voltage lead from the bushing to the high-voltage lead of the primary winding. It is an important component of Completely Self Protected (CSP) Technology

Feature

  • Rated voltage range: 10kV to 36kV
  • High breaking capacity and fast operating performance
  • Strong sealing performance ,Compact size
  • Can be used with load switches or circuit breakers

Selection Tips

  • Choose rated current according to transformer capacity.
  • Ensure voltage rating ≥ system operating voltage.
  • Match bushing and HV lead connection type.
  • Periodically check fuse element and connection integrity.

FAQS:

Q1: How to elect the correct high-voltage fuse for the oil immersed CSP distribution transformer?

A1: Please provide your transformer capacity and the voltage at the high-voltage end. Our engineers will select the correct fuse curve for you within 2 hours.

Q2:What is the difference between an expulsion fuse and a current-limiting fuse?

A2: Expulsion fuses use gas expulsion for arc extinction and are ideal for outdoor systems, while current-limiting fuses reduce peak fault currents and are suited for indoor switchgear.

Q3:Can power distribution fuses link be reused?

A3: After operation, the fuse link or tube must be replaced—it cannot be reused.

Q4:What should we pay attention to when installing oil immersed high voltage fuse link ?

A4: Ensure correct mounting orientation, clean insulation surfaces, tight contact, and safe clearance.
